Bicep Curls with Tubing

If you want great-looking arms, it all starts with the bicep! After all, a shaped and toned bicep minimizes the tricep (aka, the back of the arm)! Here’s a simple exercise that gets the job done– all you need is a resistance band* and you’re golden!

For Rockin’ guns, follow these simple steps:

 

1. Grab a handle in each hand and place your left foot on top of then middle of resistance band. Keep your arms straight.
2. Standing up straight with your abs tight and engaged, slowly bend your arms, keeping your elbows stable. Pull the resistance band up until your hands are aligned with your shoulders and your elbows are bent at a 45 degree angle. Hold this for about 5-10 seconds—or longer—if you are feeling up for a bigger challenge!
3. Slowly lower back to the starting position, with arms straight, but without locking your elbows and keeping your abs tight. Perform 10-15 repetitions. Complete 3 sets! And voila!

*You can purchase a set of resistance bands for about $10 -$35 depending on how many you want and how strong the resistance.
