This smoothie has 12 grams of protein,  Protein is what helps to keep you feeling satisfied so if you make this smoothie your breakfast, you’ll stave off hunger straight through lunch—all for 168 calories!  If you want, go for two servings and just over 300 calories you’ll have 24 grams of protein!

Pomegranate Banana Protein Smoothie

3 Servings

 

Ingredients

1 medium banana

2 TBSP fresh pomegranate seeds

8oz pomegranate juice (like POM Wonderful)

6oz Greek yogurt, nonfat, plain

0.5 TBSP sunflower seed butter

1 scoop (26g) 100% whey protein powder

1 cup ice cubes

 

Directions

Simply add all ingredients into a blender and blend until desired consistency is achieved. Pour equally into two glasses.  Enjoy!
