If you have an upcoming holiday party and wonder what healthy dish you can bring for the host or serve at your own party, we’ve got just your answer! Since we often find that if we can bring/ have one healthier option available at a party, then at least we know we can eat that so we don’t have to fill up on the less healthy choices. As a bonus, this dish contains a splash of an ingredient that may just give you a small edge to help you control your weight. Hello Skinny Jeans! 😉

Skinny White Bean Dip

Serves: 10

 

Ingredients

 

2/3 cup low fat cottage cheese
1-1/2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (Read more about this ACV here and how it may help to give you a slight edge to control your weight)
1/2 teaspoon Herbs de Provence (may substitute thyme)
One 15.5-ounce can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/8 tsp paprika

Sea salt (to taste)

1/8 teaspoon Sriracha sauce (optional)

Fresh cracked pepper (to taste)

 

Directions

  1. Combine the cottage cheese, vinegar, thyme, beans, salt, pepper and sriracha sauce (if using) in a food processor or blender.Puree until smooth and make sure everything is combined evenly and smoothly. Chill 30 minutes to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  2. Transfer the cottage cheese mixture to a medium size serving bowl and drizzle with the oil and paprika. Serve with pita chips or veggies and enjoy!!
