Only four simple ingredients are required to make this dish a perfect, wholesome and delicious component of any lunch or dinner meal. This recipe is taken from our book The Secret To Skinny

Take 1 cup of brown rice, 1 cup of finely chopped green onion, and 1 ½ cups of fat free, low-sodium vegetable or chicken broth and place into a rice cooker.

After the rice is ready, stir in ¼ cup of finely chopped, toasted almonds and voila!

You’ve just transformed rice into a flavorsome food with texture and nutrients.
