Here’s one of our favorite recipes that’s sure to give you a boost:
Masala Chai Tea
Ingredients:
- 1 ¼ cup water
- 2 cloves, crushed
- 1 cinnamon stick, crushed
- 2 cardamom pod, crushed
- 1/3 cup skim milk
- 1 ½ tbsp raw sugar
- 1 ½ tbsp black tea leaves (we use decaffeinated tea)
Directions:
- Put water and spices in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cover and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add milk and sugar. Stir in until dissolved. Bring back to a light boil.
- Add tea leaves. Take off heat. Steep for 5 minutes.
- Pour through a filter to strain the tea leaves and spices.
- Enjoy warm!
