Grilled Banana Split

Grilled Banana Split

(serves 1)


Ingredients

  • 1 banana, medium
  • 1 tsp. dark chocolate chips
  • 1 marshmallow, cut into small pieces
  • 1 strawberry, sliced
  • ½ tsp. shredded coconut, unsweetened
  • 1 tsp. walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp chocolate sauce

Directions

  • First, Start the grill. Using a sharp knife, slice the banana in half while still keeping the peel on. Using a scissors, cut the marshmallow into very small pieces. Also, finely slice the strawberry and chop the walnuts.
  • Next, evenly space chocolate chips, marshmallow bits, and the strawberry slices in between the slit of the banana. Wrap the banana in tin foil and place it on the grill for about 10 minutes.
  • Once it is done grilling, carefully remove the banana from the grill and open the tin foil. The banana should be soft and the ingredients inside should be fully melted. Next place the chopped walnuts and coconut (toasted if you desire) on top of the banana and enjoy!
