If you are like we are, then you love that chicken is easy to prepare and a great source of lean protein. High quality protein can help with muscle recovery after a workout! With the right recipe, chicken is really delicious…but for us, the fastest way to make chicken taste, well, uh, not-so-good is when it’s dried out. That’s why we love this interesting take on everyday chicken! It’s marinated in herbs and Dannon® OIKOS® Greek nonfat yogurt, so even if you’re not the best cook in the kitchen, the chicken will be moist and scrumptious!
Chicken with Yogurt Marinade
• Prep time 10 Minutes
• Cook Time 20 Minutes
• Yields 6 servings
Ingredients
• 6 boneless chicken breasts, lightly pounded
• 1 5.3 ounce Dannon® Oikos® Plain Greek Nonfat Yogurt
• 2 Tbsp. fruited or plain balsamic vinegar
• 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
• 1 Tbsp. minced rosemary
• Kosher salt and pepper
• Oil for grill
Directions
1. Pre-heat grill 10-15 minutes. Lightly spray grill with oil in a spray can (or with your oil added to spray container).
2. In a bowl combine yogurt, vinegar, Dijon, rosemary, salt and pepper. Add chicken and toss to coat. Let stand 25-30 minutes.
3. Cook chicken on a preheated oiled grill 3-4 minutes per side. Serve with rosemary garnish over grilled or roasted vegetables.
4. Tip: Lemon or orange juice can replace the vinegar for a citrus flavor.
