Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Ingredients:
1 large sheet waxed paper
1 cup Chocolate Chips
2 cups whole large strawberries, about 17 Strawberries, rinsed and clean

Directions:
1. Cover a baking tray with waxed paper.
2. Melt chocolate chips either by using a double boiler, melting the chocolate in the top over simmering water until it is melted and smooth and then removing from hot water. Or if using a microwave, melt chocolate using a microwave safe container (timing varies by microwave, start with 45 second intervals and depending on your microwave, see if they need more time and slowly heat more.
3. Dip the strawberries about halfway into the melted chocolate. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off by gently shaking the strawberry.
4. Place strawberry on waxed paper and allow chocolate to set by placing them in the refrigerator. We got a little anxious the first time we made them and needed them to be ready sooner so we placed them in the freezer for about 10 minutes and then the fridge and that seemed to work well too. The setting of the chocolate may vary depending on your fridge, etc. but expect about half an hour.
5. Place them in Tupperware in the fridge if you aren’t serving within a couple of hours.
