Our Fave Nutrient Boosting & Slimming Benefit & the real bonus of this drink? It's super low in calories compared to most fruity alcoholic drinks and that raspberries have the phytochemical C3G that may increase production of both adiponectin, which enhances fat metabolism, and leptin, which suppresses appetite. This is great as alcohol usually increases appetite so the raspberries may help to counter that.
Ingredients
  • 1 c. sparkling water
  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 1 T. grapefruit juice
  • 6 raspberries
  • 2 mint leaves
Instructions
  1. Start by placing 1 raspberry in each cube of an ice cube tray. Then, fill the cube with water and place it in the freezer for several hours or until completely frozen.
  2. Once ice cubes are fully frozen, pour sparking water, vodka, and splash of grapefruit juice into a glass. Using a spoon, mix the beverage. Next, place the ice cubs in the glass and garnish with mint. Enjoy!
