Skinny Chocolate Chunky Cookies

- 3 ripe bananas (medium-sized)
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
- ¼ cup peanut butter (chunky adds more crunch)
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (or cacao powder)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tbsp. chia seeds (optional)
- ⅛ tsp. cinnamon (optional)
- ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- In a large bowl, add mash bananas with a fork
- Mix in the rest of the remaining ingredients and then allow the batter to set for around 20 minutes
- Using a tablespoon, place a level spoonful onto an ungreased baking sheet (can also be lined with parchment paper)
- Bake 10-12 minutes or until you notice the outside of the cookies start to lose their shine.
**This includes chia seeds, cinnamon and chocolate chips
